Darién Martínez Pimentel was born on (9/2/1979) with a degree in physical culture and a specialist in sports and recreational sailing. As an athlete, he won a silver medal in the Central American and Caribbean Games (Cartagena 2006), 7th place in the Pan American Games (Rio 2007), national champion in the Cadet classes (1994), Laser II (1996 and 1997), 470 (2002 ) ) and Snipe (2008).
