Maiki is a seasoned sailor in the 470 and one design classes like X-99 and Melges 24. Maiki was a Sydney

2000 and Athens 2004 Olympic challenger in the 470 class with several podiums at Junior European and

World Championships. She also holds multiple national and international titles mostly in the Melges 24

class, being a two-time Corinthian World Champion and four-time Corinthian European Champion. Maiki

is an ambitious and valuable team member who covers mainly the positions of the bowman and floater.

In her daily life, she works as a teacher at elementary school.
