Toomas, a two-time Olympic medallist, has been the inseparable sailing partner of Tõnu for 40 years. In
recent years, they have been crowned European Champions in the 470 class and won several medals at
the European and World Championships in the Melges 24 and the SB20 class. In addition to being a
notable businessman, Toomas has also had an outstanding career in politics as a member of the Estonian
Parliament and as a Minister of Finance. In SSL Team Estonia, Toomas’ position is the jib and gennaker
trimmer.
