55th place in the overall ranking and 8th among Asian nations are where the SSL Team Oman currently stands.
When we think about Oman, one moment immediately comes to mind: their incredible victory at the SSL Gold Cup Asian Qualifiers. SSL Team Oman dominated the entire event, winning every single race and delivering a performance truly worthy of the history books.
Despite their clear advantage, the team remained fully focused until the end. As their captain, Nasser Al Mashari, said before the final day: “Still the game on.” Even with a strong lead, both the captain and the entire crew stayed completely concentrated on the races ahead.
Their strength lies in teamwork and crew stability. As Al Mashari explains: “We’ve been training together as a team for about three years.” This long-term collaboration has built strong trust, excellent communication on board, and a calm, composed atmosphere during races. For Team Oman, the key elements of the results are crew cohesion and maintaining focus right up to the final race.
