Deniss started off his career at the age of 12 with Optimist and has subsequently been sailing in the

Laser and the Finn class. He has the experience of three Olympic Games where his best result was 11th

place in the Finn class in 2012. By the way, Deniss also held the 1st position in the Finn class World

Ranking in 2012! However, his best result in sailing so far is the Laser World Championships bronze

medal in 2007. Currently, Deniss is a sailing coach at his own sailing school in Tallinn.
