George started sailing at a young age in Wellington NZ in the Optimist class where he was competive nationally and interationally. He has sailed a wide variety of yachts since then but over the past 5 years he has been focused on ILCA7 sailing aimoing toards the 2024 Paris Olympics. He has finished 3rd at the World Champs and 2nd at the Princess Sofia World Cup event earlier this year. Currently George is pushing hard towards his goal of securing a medal at the 2024 Olympics.
