Oman Sail’s Ibtisam Al Salmi is one of the Middle East’s first professional female sailors. She started sailing in 2012 to become a sailing instructor and since then she has joined the national team. She competed in different boats like Laser, Farr30,diam24, J80,sp20, J70, and so on. She became the first Arab sailor to race from France to Germany and racing around Italy.
