He was born in Cape Town, South Africa, and started sailing at the age of 13. Marco actively takes part in multiple dinghy and keel boat fleets within National and International events. He`s currently the director of Zeekoevlei Sailing Centre which introduces school for transforming sailing in South Africa and is the Head of Claims Operations for Metropolitan Health.
