Two times Olympic champion in the 49erFX class alongside Kahena Kunze, with whom she also won the world title in 2014, she is one of the most respected athletes in Brazil. The Daughter of the two-time Olympic Champion Torben Grael, she was elected by World Sailing as the best sailor in the world in 2014 and also has experience in ocean sailing, after competing in the 2017/2018 Volvo Ocean Race for the Team AkzoNobel. She is currently one of his country's medal hopes for the 2024, Paris Olympics.
