Uzair is a double-handed dinghy sailor. He won back to back gold medals at the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in 2015 and 2017. More recently he has been competing in IRC keelboat regattas and in the SB20 one-design class in Asia. Uzair hails from Klang in the state of Selangor.
