Nikola is the trimmer on the Serbian SSL47 crew, contributing to maneuvers and helping the boat sail fast. He started sailing relatively late, at the age of 12, but his background in ILCA 4, ILCA 6, and ILCA 7, where he became an 11-time national champion, helped shape his sailing skills and race awareness. Experience on different larger boats strengthened his teamwork and ability to work effectively in a crew environment.
