Robert started to sail when he was 7 years old. He went through the normal steps, he started in Optimist then 420 and 470. He became heavy as a helm at 16 years old, so he changed to Laser and had two Silver Cup in Finn, finished top 10 both of them. After the Olimpic classes he started to sail in Melges 24 and reached top 6 places the next years at Worlds and Europeans. He had 26 hungarian national championship titles and he was the European Champion in J24 at 2016. Now he is working as a sailing coach, and in private life he is happy father of two young children.
