Hi I'm Rubin B. Cruz Jr. also known as “Choy”, is a Filipino sailor, born on November 13, 1991 in Laspiñas Manila Philippines. A member of a Philippine national sailing team since 2005 and also part of Philippine Navy serving since 2015.I competes both dinghy including Optimist, ILCA and keel boat classes. l represent both dinghy's and keel boats internationally gaining valuable experience in single handed and keel boats and offshore racing. Currently I serve as an occasional coach for the Ilca grassroots focusing on developing the next generation of sailors. My long standing commitment from youth sailing to off shore racing excellence makes one of the key figures driving the growth of competitive sailing in the Philippines.
