Tom has experience with Team Australia from 2022, but did not compete at the 2023 SSL Gold Cup due to Olympic selection clash of dates. He returns to the team for 2026 in a tactical or trimming role. He has a close relationship with Matt Wearn (team Skipper) from Laser sailing with the Olympic squad.
