Born in Pune and having spent most of his childhood in Mumbai, Vishnu dominated the Optimist fleet in India for a long time before switching on to ILCA 7. He has won a Bronze medal in the U-21 category at Laser Worlds. He represented India in Tokyo Olympics 2020 in ILCA 7 and finished a creditable 20th.

Vishnu Saravanan has represented India at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in ILCA7. He has been performing very well at the ILCA7 with being in the top 15 in the World Ranking 2022. He is very passionate and enthusiastic athlete with a lot of potential. Has a degree in bachelor of commerce. He uses his people skills to create a good environment.
