The latest international sailing events have significantly reshaped the SSL Ranking, with several sailors making impressive moves in both the skipper and crew classifications.
Following the 2026 49er, 49erFX and Nacra 17 European Championships, an event worth 1,000 SSL Ranking points, Canadian skipper Georgia Lewin-LaFrance claimed victory in the 49erFX fleet. Thanks to this result, she has climbed to second place overall in the SSL Skippers Global Ranking and now leads the Women's Skippers Ranking.
Another notable rise belongs to Pim Van Vugt of the Netherlands. At the beginning of July, he won the 2026 Contender World Championship in Medemblik, earning 1,875 SSL Ranking points. His outstanding performance has propelled him to fourth place overall in the SSL Skippers Ranking.
In the SSL Global Crew Ranking, Anna Burnet continues to hold the top position thanks to her consistent performances in the Nacra 17 class. The biggest change among the crews comes from Antonia Lewin-LaFrance, who has moved up to third place in the overall crew standings.
Rounding out the top four is Jeremy Lomas of New Zealand. At the end of June, he and his team won the 2026 Rolex TP52 World Championship in Porto Cervo, a result that secured his place as fourth overall in the SSL Crew Ranking.
